‘Negative calorie foods’ doesn’t mean that certain foods do not contain calories. It means that certain food that contain such few calories that are then subtracted from the energy (calories) that your body may expend could equal a negative result. Even though we are said to burn an average of 85 calories when eating (and 60 calories when sleeping), some foods may expend more calories during digestion while other expend less calories.
Nevertheless, a negative calorie food is a food that apparently uses more calories during digestion than the calories that that food actually contains.… Read more
