Gardening and Photography: Stress Reduction

During the past several weeks, I’m been learning a lot about adrenal fatigue, stress, types of stress, how to eliminate stress, plus so much more.

Well, after I started feeling better, this week, I get hit with an extreme dose of external stress, and since today has been an emotional day for me, I did what I know works best for me to combat stress, I grabbed my seeds, my shovel, and my camera and headed outdoors. 

Ainsley, Sydney and I planted the following today (01 March 2012):

  • Kale (and LOTS of it!)
  • Boy choy
  • Baby bok choy
  • Beets
  • Asparagus
  • Snow peas 
  • Almost spinach (‘almost’ because Sydney poured the entire pack of tiny seeds in the grass outside of the raised bed)
We still have to plant the following in the coming weeks:
  • Lettuces 
  • More peas (waiting for trellis construction)
  • Spinach
We also plant the following:
  • Tomatoes of all colors and sizes
  • Peppers: orange, red, green, purple, brown, jalapeno….
