I love to detox but dislike the symptoms, so I do everything possible to try to minimize those symptoms as I start to gradually prepare my body for the juice fast.

Day One of our Juice Fasting Preparation

Lauren and I are following a similar plan while preparing for our juice fast that starts at 4:00 PM on Thursday.

This is what I consumed thus far today (Lauren will enter her list in the comment section of this post):

8:00 AM: mug of tea (1 tsp raw honey w/2 Celestial Seasonings green tea tag bags & 1 chamomile)
10:00 AM: muf of tea (see above)
11:00 AM: poured my first Camelbak thermos of juice (2 parts juice to 1 part water) of the day
12:00 PM: 3/4 cup banana whip
1:00 PM: 1/4 cup trail mix (almonds, sprouted sunflower seeds, raisins, goji berries)
2:00 PM: organic Fuji apple–still working of first thermos of juice
5:00 PM: green salad with sunflower seeds, walnuts, and craisins.… Read more
