When out in Vegas this past August, Greg discovered a GF/CF bread that he loves (Gluten Free Creations). However, since it does contain gelatin and is so costly to ship, I’m on the hunt for a delicious gluten-free, corn-free, soy-free, vegan bread recipe. Here are my contenders:
We have been buying two types of bread from time-to-time. However, since Greg, Ainsley and Sydney only eat bread approximately twice a month, a loaf of store-bought bread lasts months in our home (in the freezer, of course!).
The rosemary bread sounds nice…though isn’t “Gelatin” in one of the other breads considered an animal product and therefore non-vegan…are there gelatin substitutes?
Gluten Free Creations bread is the only bread that contains gelatin, and at the time of purchase, my husband and oldest daughter were vegetarian. Since they are now vegan, I am on the hunt for a bread that they will enjoy as much as GFC. My husband was a vegetarian for well over two decades, and after watching Forks over Knives and CNN’s “The Last Heart Attack” with Bill Clinton, Greg finally made the switch. I am thrilled to say the least.

Here is a great post of gelatin alternative by PETA: http://www.peta.org/living/vegetarian-living/gelatin-alternatives.aspx
